Paddle Three Thousand Miles: A Fundraiser for The American Cancer Society

Paddle 3,000 miles, is the first annual paddling event hosted by Aqua Guides And Outfitters Inc. to benefit the American Cancer Society. The event is an eleven day relay, with a goal of paddling 3,000 miles to remind us of the progress that has been made in the battle against cancer. That progress was made by many individuals working together patiently, with care and love. Today, cancer survivors can enjoy a quiet paddle on a lake or river because of the efforts of others.

The founder of Aqua Guides is a cancer survivor. He has received treatment for prostate cancer and colon cancer. The last six years he has been cancer free and has enjoyed many hours paddling his kayak. He is thankful for the efforts of the cancer team at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital and the early detection of cancer by Dr. Daniel Jablonski. This event came together because of the care and treatment that Eli received from Dr. Carl Olson and his staff at Columbia, Thanks!
